Mine has TXXXX serial on hosel, no 460 on hosel, some of the earlier tour proto versions had 460 on hosel paint area and no logo on toe, later ones have TXXXX serial and larger than retail logo on toe of club, of course all the tours that I have seen have .335 hosel bore and I have been told avg. w/o any hotmelt added around 205grams instead of standard 200gram but I have not personally been able to confirm as I have no need to take apart mine just to get headweight as I know my source is legit- hope this helps some!

 Cleveland does not make a .335 hosel bore in the Launcher Comp or HiBore - Retail or Tour.

Where do you get your information?? ;)

Got mine directly from Cleveland tour dept., not trying to dispute that Hibores are only available as .350 at present time to allow shimming for adjustment of face angle. There is in the works a version of Hibore XL tour that does have a longer hosel to allow some adjustment of face and w/ a .335 hosel. There also were a very few tour issue heads of Comp Tour produced w/ .335 hosel, not very common at all, not about to get into an argument w/ anyone as it is generally true that Comp Tours have in most cases, .350 hosel -was just referring to the limited experience that I have in order to help in keeping someone from getting taken as there are a lot of places trying to pass off retail Comps as tour, really did not expect to get flamed for trying to help and did not mean to add to any confusion!

Comps had a funny history during launch.

460 hozel (tours, and PGA pro's)

460 hozel and T serial number (tour issued)

t serial numbers were tour issued

I have heard that they were 350 hozel also. All mine were.

Here is a head that we got a shot of on tour at the Ford Senior Chamionship last year...

I do apologize for coming off in an agressive manner, i did not mean to "flame" you as I agree with easyyy you were just trying to help (always a problem with message borads). It was just the manner that you stated, "of course all the tours that I have seen have .335 hosel bore" as I have never seen or heard of a Tour Comp with a .335 hosel bore - I myself have a Tour Issue Cleveland Comp from a Nationwide player that does not have any marking at all (No serial, no 460) and is a .350 hosel bore (it is Lefty so that is a different can of worms - Steve Flesh special).

Have you seen a .335 hosel Tour Issue Cleveland before? I'm not stating that they don't exist - because I have no way of confirming that - but this is the first that I have heard of this before.

Thanks for the HiBore XL info - I had not heard that before.

No hard feeling - Cheers ;)

NO hard feeling here either at all, just guess didn't make it clear that the only tour issue Comps that I have seen in person had .335 hosel from a special run of heads and was trying to make the point that Comps as stated earlier in thread have a "unique" history that makes it somewhat easy to pass off retail as tour so as has been said many times on here "know your source". I am aware of fact that almost all of the tour isssue Comps have .350 bore and some research w/ people on here prior to purchasing from some other source could avoid someone being defrauded into paying too much for what is essentially a retail head. I have no doubt that we both had the best of intentions and sometimes stuff gets lost in translation from brain to keyboard ;)

So, can I take it that a Cleveland Comp 460 with no serial is sign of tour issue. Do retail Comps have serials.

In most cases, yes no serial on Comps= tour issue or early prototype, just be really sure you know your seller as some unscrupulous sellers have buffed out serials, that is why I started trying to help out w/ info on this thread to begin with. Retail comps do have serials, just not starting w/ T- any further clarification should probably be directed at Easyyy as more familar w/ Comp history than most!

edit- below post is absolutely correct, only retail Comps that did have serial were not issued to US market, that is where some of the unscupulous practices came from.
