Bad back = eBay golf addiction = sweet miuras and tons of clubs

AH.... they came... i can't believe how good they look! they literally look like they have barely been hit at all.. I measured.. they seem to be standard lie (lie being slightly flat as expected) and length as well.

here are some pics, I gotta show my new babies off... the closeup of the two heads are the 5i and PW... the rest are as good or better than those two.. didn't want to overload the forum ;-)

I seriously considered scratch.. I always like staying in country and their grind options looked really good, but I had the japanese bug...

However... my next set will either be miura babys (assuming I like the miuras) or scratch.. or hell..both lol..

Wow, great condition. Got yourself a good price there, hope the wife didn't give you too much grief! I dropped a few $ this month, new Titleist irons, new RBZ tour preferred 3 wood, Adams pro black hybrid and a new odyssey #7, possibly a new Rife Antigua as well. It doesn't seem to bad when you're buying it separately, then you add it all up and

Sweet sticks.... and if she's a shopper for bags, shoes, etc, tell her that these Be-Utes are going to last a lot longer, and have a better resale value than her old purse or heels.

Since joining here, I've often brought boxes in from our mail room during the day, or after hours when she's not around. It's tough to hide the boxes because I have to keep them if I decide to get rid of other clubs. I just cleaned out 5 things over the weekend, so I'm running low on boxes, but I have 2 more coming this week.

My miura putter arrived on Thursday, along with the Mizuno MP 59's that i ordered first. She actually just shook her head and didn't say a word. Either I am in the clear or about to be murdered in my sleep haha..

I like to tell her it could be worse.. instead of spending money on golf I could be going to strip clubs and wasting money on strippers lol.. that usually gets me the "evil eye" ;-)

Oh yeah, the Miura putter.. I have never had a blade putter that stays as true as that putter does putting. You have to try to open or close that face.. it is definitely going into the bag and replacing my 2ball.. which is saying something.. because I LOVE the 2ball.

If you are on the fence about one.. I definitely say pull the trigger...

nice score! you did just fine choosing jdm over scratch...especially at that price!

keep us updated on how the black wears after some playing time. i just put some raw yururi flatbacks into play and kinda like the raw look as the black begins to wear off so i'm wondering if the miuras will wear similarly.

Will do chiro. Do you oil yours? And if so what do you use?

i do oil mine at least once per week with a cheap sword oil...hanwei brand i think. i'll probably get flamed for not using the pretty smelling stuff that costs 10 times more but oh well...

are the miuras raw under the black as well?
