It is time to get fitted

But how and where?

When I first started golf my brother in law told me to get custom fitted when/ if I reached a 5 handicap. I am a 5.8 now so close enough.

Here is a problem, I don't have much money so hopefully I can take my current set and get them fitted to me.


I'm in Los Angeles. Roger Dunn, Golfsmith, and Dicks seem horrible at fitting... they seem to cut corners. I tried in the past to get them to adjust the loft of my clubs and they sorta blew me off telling me it's not necessary. Also tried getting lie angles adjusted there and they really didn't want to have me hit every iron.

I want the fitter to take their time and make sure every angle is covered.



Anyone know where I could go?

Talk with a local pro from either a course or one that does lessons from a range. Im sure they can tell you where to go.

Pro's at the courses near me always say Roger Dunn or Golfsmith and I say no to those places.
