Cool Clubs or Hot Stix?

Anyone use either of these in Phoenix?

I think it's time for another driver fitting and am thinking of going to one of these places. Any experiences or recommendations?

I've used them both in Dallas.

Cool Clubs here has a complete facility to do the fittings, however, they send all their orders for any kind of work to their Phoenix store. Great guys to work with and they will take their time (about 1.5 hrs. app.) with you and make sure you are happy. I have even returned a driver and they sent it out for a reshaft that I was not liking at all for no charge. Fee: $100.00 (standard for a driver fitting).

Hot Stix is based at the TPC Las Colinas and is staffed by a single employee. He is very knowledgeable and very talented. He can do some stuff locally, bending, grips, etc., as he has a complete mini-tour van. He also took his time (about 2 hrs. app.) for a driver fitting. He also then checked my irons for loft and lie, and took a look at my 3 wood asking me to hit several balls. I ordered a driver shaft from him which he picked up from UST here in Dallas, He then installed it, and delivered it to me at no extra charge. Fee: $50.00 (standard for a driver fitting).

Both outfits used Trackman and did their testing outdoors. All things being equal, Hot Stix was 1/2 price of Cool Clubs and both did excellent work.

One thing I will say, is that Cool Clubs furnished me with a complete data printout of each different shaft tried, along with trajectory, ball speed, launch angle, etc., while Hot Stix only furnished that information on the fly as we were testing. According to their Dallas rep, they do not printout that info for whatever reason, which I found to be kinda odd. That being said, I am 100% happy with my shaft selection from Hot Stix (only used them last month, and Cool Clubs had a waiting list a mile long) and I will use them again.

Great info, thanks. Here, Hot Dtix has a bit of a wait. Cool Clubs seems easier to get into. Cool Clubs fee is $125 indoors $175 outdoors. Hot Stix is $100 and is outdoors. I scheduled an indoor fitting but maybe I should just do it outdoors so I can see actual ball flights. I trust Trackman but it might be good to actually see accuracy differences.
