Single Strap Stand Bag?

Does anyone still make them?

As a former wrestler, I have large shoulders that make it unconfortable to get the second strap on and off. So far, the best fit I have found is with the Ping Hoofer 2; however, I find myself carrying it single most of the time.

Back in the day, I used to carry a single strap Jones bag without a problem. I would switch b/w shoulders throughout the round to balance the effect. My Ping doesn't work well carying leftie.

Ideas?

i still have my single strap jones and have considered using it again.

just simply the best bag ever made for walking, imho atleast.

ive tried to find one on ebay but it seems pretty hard. sorry this doesnt really address your post.

Try the Cleveland Staff Carry bag. Comes with both slings (two or one shoulder). Your choice to use.

Onebulldogs the answer to your problem is Sun Mountain 3.5. I have had two of these and are great bags. However the last one I bought with the crossover strap like you I bodged up with and old single strap. I contacted them in the UK about whether I could buy one with single strap and was told by Customer Service "When you purchase a bag through one of our retailer you can ask for them

to do it single strap. You can get them custom made for a single strap"

I contacted Goldsmith and got reply "We can special order you a 3.5 bag with a single strap. The cost would be the same as the style and type of bag as you see on our web site. Please let us know if we can be of service.

All the new Titleist stand bags at my club were order with single straps-- because the caddys hate the double straps when they carry two bags.

Since I also carry my own bag when I don't use a caddy, I was told that I could order the double strap harness if I wish. I believe Sun Mountain makes the Titleist bags.
