Anybody tried the ExpressoWR62 yet?

Seems the WR62 has everything and more ( distance to hazards) than the s1 and neo + watches and it's cheaper to boot. Delivery is estimated as early as last June to mid July which probably means no clue. I really could use something by7/9 but don,t want to settle for less just to have for a week long tournament.

You guys feel the WR62 to be superior based on info or has anybody here actually used one? Also who do you think has quickest delivery of this new item. Thanks for any input.

I don't think it is out yet as it appears there have been production delays.

Do you really want to be one of the early adopters of a new golf GPS product? History with golf GPS shows that might not be the way to go-- the risk of buggy functionality is high.

As a note, Expresso, the same makers of the WR62 also made a road/golf GPS model Ag1 and the user reviews on Amazon were very mixed and many not favorable.

Hopefully the WR62 will be a good product, but I would not want to be one of the first to buy.

[/quote]Decided to go with Bushnell neo + because I can get one in time for my 5 day tournament. It gives me all I want anyway.

[/quote]My only concern with the Bushnell watch is it's so new and the Garmin s1 has been around and has a track record. Guy just offered a s1 for $125.00 that was used 5 times so I have to think about that too.

As a Garmin user (not golf) but land and air, I would jump on the $125 opportunity for the S1, especially if you're primarily intersted in front, center, back. There are just TONs of favorable reviews on the S1. But I got to also think the neo watch is built foundationally solid like the original neo +, so still not a risky choice in my opinion. Golfsmith shows very favorable reviews on both. Also check out the user reviews on Amazon for the S1-- impressive.

It hasn't been a watch for that long, but the neo and neo+ have a very proven track record (more so than the s1). The watch version is the same electronics with just straps added.

If you're happy with just the green front/middle/back info, the S1 is good too. But if you want more data points, go with the neo.
