High or low?

I read alot of people always seeking low trajectory piercing shots. My swing speed is not as high as others post. My driver swing speed is 90-95. On a good day 100. Most my shots have high trajectory flights. Starts with my wedge to my drive.

 

I was wondering why people are seeking low trajectory shot. What is the advantage of having a low trajectory shot. I figured higher the better.well high enough. Not sky high pop up.

I'll take the high shot. I have a driver ss of about 100, 3 index.

Hitting a low shot is definately good for windy days. I'm also guessing some people equate a low piercing shot with more distance. Not sure that really equates in most circumstances.

I don't really care about the windy days. I hit high boomers with all my clubs. I enjoy the high trajectory and its very easy to stop the ball without adding backspin, which btw I have no idea how to do. I'm not the longest hitter, but I do hit long enough with a 7 iron at 160 with a huge launch angle. I see no reason to seek a lower trajectory. It also does not matter which clubs I play the launch is still high - i15's, s58's or mp58's.

I take low all week. the closer the ball is to the ground the easier it is to control for me.
