Kind of new to Dallas

I am very new to Dallas Golf but have lived here for two years. My name is Dennis and I live in far North Dallas right on the border of Addison. I began playing golf when I was 6 years old (now 35) competed on High School Golf Team, tried out for Q-School, US Open, Nationwide Tour, and passed the PAT (about 8 years ago), my USGA Handicap at my lowest was +2.77 and right before I gave up the game three years ago it was at a +2.47. I have had surgery for my medical problems and can now golf again, unfortunetly I still need to pick up a few clubs and since times are tight it is taking me longer than I would have expected. I have been hitting balls over at the Golden Bear Golf Facilities for about a month and a half at a rate of once a week with my 7 year old but have not hit a course yet. I plan on trying to compete again at a local level by this spring (hopefully) and i hope to meet up with some of you either on the course or at the range.
