YES putters from CHINA

ive seen a lot YES putters popping up on EBAY, head only sometimes, with ship from locations such as singapore and overseas locations. well i decided to do a research and this is what i found. how is this possible to find with only GOOLGE and a few key words. i would have thought this would be underground, i guess not.

Their are a bunch of YES! fakes coming from china and other such areas. Never buy just heads, they are fake for sure YES! has it on their website.

i totally agree...even though the real yes! putter heads are made in china the copies are not made in the same factory as the real deal yes putters...

I "Asked the seller a question" a couple weeks ago, concerning a new Yes Dianna for $75.

 

My question was, "Hi. This putter is a fake, right? Thanks for your time."

 

His reply was "Hi. genuine from smuggle"

 

I guess people are stealing the heads, or throwing them out windows in the factories?

The heads are most likely from the factory.. A little five fingered discount. They could be seconds or just taken out of a box.That is what happens when you pay somebody 6 or 7 dollars a day...

It is sadly very common. It's possible they are fakes or also possible the factory making the real ones will have an order for XX from the customer, and they will run XX+1000 and the extras end up being sold off dirt cheap.

 

Know your sources.

I bought a yes callie off of ebay, I bet it was one of the "under the radar" variety.

 

Any way to tell? This one definitely has a milled set of grooves unlike some of the fakes where the grooves are supposedly stamped.

 

I wonder...
