No info but looks Interesting. A light weight low/low shaft (assuming the 52 is indicative of weight)....hmmmm?

I have heard of it - and fatrichard found all the details. This is the latest edition to the PX line and is supposed to be unreal. Interests me :)

It interests me too, I am looking to switch to a lighter driver shaft. I will definitely have to give this one a whirl. Any chance you know anything about the release date, swanry30?

Nice detective work FatRichard! 52g in a low-mid shaft...sounds very interesting, especially if it has the typical PX stability.

this is going to be stating the obvious - but it is slated to be released for the 2013 line. the information that you posted was a much as i know. i am doing some blind testing right now for TT - and was hoping eventually i would be able to test the PXv and the other PX "new" shaft :) i don't know what i have now - nor can i comment on it further. great stuff from TT next year!

the PX stability is virtually unmatched. there are only a few other shafts in the category - the motore speeder tour spec being one of them. pretty good company!

Haha, thats quite a tease. I definitely like a really stable driver shaft because I use a high loft driver head. I have a whiteboard 73S in right now and it definitely fits that bill in the stability part but I know a shaft with similar stability and a good bit less weight would make my life easier!

I'll been looking out for what TT is rolling out next year, thanks for heads up.

Hey, this is a little bit of an old thread.... But I just got fit at the Kingdom and I now have the Project X PXv 52 shaft in my new R1. Like swanry30 said, the shaft is super smooth, stable, and really low spin. It was a perfect fit for me. If you get a chance to try it out, don't skip it.

What flex, SS etc and what was the launch?

My swing speed is around 106-110mph. I was fit for 6.0 flex, which I think is S+.

It's mid low, which is what I need because I hit the ball really high. It's in my R1 which I was fit for 8*

The shaft feels really smooth and stable through my swing.

Just did a R1 TP fitting and the PXv 52 was the winner, felt really good. Looked on the Project X website and the PVx Tour (non 52) looks to have similar numbers, with a lower torque value and 13 grams more weight in 6.o shaft. Really liked it, smooth, stable, powerful and low spin. I use a midsize grip wich is heavier so I may go with the regular PVx Tour since the grip will counterbalance the swingwieght somewhat.
