problem with grip master grip

Hey guys , i just received my first grip master grip yesterday . I got the limited edition white pistol putter grip , very very sweet grip and feels great in the hands . One problem tho , when i installed it it seemed to go on no problem , im a pro and have been puting grips on for years . but down at the bottom on the stitching at the back there is a lump?? and below that a soft gap , its really annoying me and im a little pissed off after paying $55 in total for this grip . ( I will try to get a pic up ) . What do you guys think is this a common problem or ?? I tried sending them an email but one address wouldnt send and the other got returned to me . I know there are a couple guys here with hook ups at gripmaster , could you please pass on email address to me ??

I think you may have torn the underlisting and it's bunching up a little.

I've done this several times. I usually slide them back up when I

feel this while I'm putting them on. Sometimes it smoothes back out,

sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure what you can do once the solvent is

dry.

Yeah, the Mac cameras and the iSight reverse the images. Weird, eh? I think it's so you see yourself as if you are in a mirror when you do an iChat.

 

Could you inject some solvent along the shaft and try to squeeze and flatten it out?

our underlast will not dry rot, is uv and oxygen stable, and it will remain soft and pliable for years and years.

 

but it will tear tear and it doesn't wet well.

 

that is why we reocomend the solvent deactivator bramptons over conventional solvent installation.

 

(i prefer air installation.)

 

if you prefer conventional solvent installation, read our solvent instructions you will note that we ask you to repeat the solvent shake and pour step.

 

most of us have tons of installlation experience with rubber grips which like tires can be put on with a crowbar and will actuall absorb solvent. unfortunately, our grips require a bit more technique than crowbars.

 

how about a great story.

 

a well know top of the line custom putter guy calls me and wants 25 tour laced for a special showing. i sent him 30.

 

sitting across the desk form him a couple weeks later he says i had a bit of trouble installing the first couple of grips, before we got the hang of it. i asked him did he read our install instructions. he says a h*ll who reads instructions and we both laughed. then he says at first i thought you sent me to many grips, but thank god you did or i would not have met my show deadline.

 

we then discussed the installation instructions and the repeat of the shake and pour step.

 

like i said, we are all grip installation experts but we are not all gripmaster installation experts, yet!

 

remus, it is normally our procedure to replace grips that are torn during installation regardless of fault. call me, email me or pm.

These guys really stand behind their product. I've been playing them for nearly 3 years now. Had my first set sent from Australia before thegripmasterusa.com was started. I love these grips in the hot, humid weather. I barely have to grip the club!!

Just wanted to update everybody with my problem , i spoke to sarg1948 about the problem i had with the grip and he informed me i had torn the underlay of the grip during installation . He very kindly offered to send me a replacement grip , he also asked if i had tried there iron grips ?? i replied no . So a few days later i get a nice little box arriving at my door all the way from the USA inside it i have a pimping new white tour lace putter grip , a black leather iron grip and grip installation kit . what can i say top quality customer service from a top guy .
