Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler area

Wife and I are trying to move to the Mesa area towards the end of summer this year.

I was wondering about grass ranges and short game practice area around town.

Anything outstanding? Any reasonable private equity or non equity membership recomemdations?

Local insight would be appreciated, thanks.

A lot of good players play out of Alta Mesa, so you should check it out.

Alta Mesa was one that I had found in limited search. Looks like a pretty good deal.
How's thier range/ practice area?

I'm in a similar situation to the one you were in. We may be heading to Mesa closer to July or August of this year to get the kids in school. Hoping to get an exact date in 3 weeks. You beat me to this thread as I was going to post once we had a firm date.

I'm looking for a nice practice facility too. Anyone else out there with a few other suggestions for non equity memberships or semi private courses that has a great men's associations, leagues, and members tournaments? I'm leaving a crumby home course but it has such a great group of guys that play there that I'm certain to miss them. Figured I won't know a single soul so this type of setup might be a good way to find new weekly games.

Rain shadow, did you make the move and if so where did you decide to play out of? I don't want to high jack your thread but figure the mods might want to combine since they are so similar. If this is a problem for you I'm sorry, PM me and I will delete this post.
