Hi,im a newbie to this forum and i just thought i would introduce myself.

 

my name is Jason Ward and im 27 and live in London, England. iv been playing since 2010 and my hcp is 11.8. the lowest i went was 11 and im trying hard to get this down to at least 9 this coming season so i'm hoping with a little bit of help from you guy i will achieve this.

 

my kit contains

 

taylormade r9 driver and a new r11 that i havn't yet tested

taylormade burner rescue wood (a bit bruised but still works wonders :) )

Mizuno mp32 blades

vokey 56 and 60 wedges

cleveland 52 wedge

I'm sure some people will comment on the idea that mp32 blades may not be the BEST fit for someone at an 11-12 that's only been playing for 2 years but I'm sure you have thought about that already? It's an endless discussion of course...some people think blades make then "concentrate" more and some say you need the forgiveness.

I have tried and tested a few forgiving irons but never felt much difference but i'm still on the look out so we see what happens. i find them a very forgiving set of blades compared to some other blades iv tried BUT now its winter i can feel the physical pain of the mishit.... sore fingers ;(

Where in London do you live? Not there presently but I used to live in Camden Town and then Angel/Islington several years ago. Attended UCL in Bloomsbury for a couple of years. Wonderful city but also very grey and depressing. Hope to go back at some point but haven't been since '97. I'm sure it has changed a bit since then.

i live in Ealing (west London) and yep its still grey and VERY depressing. I work near Victoria station
