New Hampshire weekend

Hey Guys,

A group of 4 of us are making our second annual trip up to Mt. Washington from the Boston area this weekend. Last year we drove up Saturday morning and played Owls Nest in Campton then we drove up and stayed at the mount Washington resort then played the course there the next morning.

Both the courses were great and I cant reccommend them enough. Incredible mountain views from all points on each course.

This year I called Owls Nest to book the tee time and they were booked till after 4. That is not really going to work for us so after looking around we found and booked our saturday round at North Conway Country Club. Has anyone played the course and if yes any thoughts? Is it worth the trek up there? Lastly any other courses in that area we should consider?

Ive only played a couple of courses up there and both were OK.....Indian Mound is usually in decent shape and a good short course for there area....it is in Tamworth NH and close to the Ossipee area. The other course ive played is Province Lake which is on the Wakefield NH and Parsonsfield ME line....again another short decent course....Ive found the southern NH area to have better quality courses IMO...The Oaks in Somersworth is nice(I make the drive up there from Peabody MA frequently....about 50mins), Portsmouth CC is an awesome course but not easy to get a tee time and is kinda pricey but worth it IMO, and Breakfast Hill in Greenland NH is another good one that is pretty close to Portsmouth CC. Hope you guys have a good trip!
