[/quote]This is one area that may not set to well with some,you do not always get who you ask for. I had a caddie reserved and a backup, I called 2 days before, everything was on go, we pull up and they say something happened and the guys you ask for are sick so we have so and so for you. They handled it pretty well , my group was a little floored I just blew it off as no big deal, I sorta felt like a idiot because that was the part I was in charge of, our guy ended up being ok not bad but not the guy we wanted , I guess that maybe started of bad for me. If I went again and could not get a confirmation on a caddy I would roll the dice and just tell them give me anyone, "all are pretty good there I think" instead of a little deflation because you did not get the guy you ask for. If you are playing it your first time you will need a caddie. I was there the end of August and got some mosquitos on the last hole of Pacific the last day. Caddie said they were getting better it had been almost unplayayble at times .

Which 2 holes did you not like?

I didn't like #11 on the trails. The hole was playing 435 yards from the green tees into the wind. The fairway slopes significantly from left to right, with a massive bunker running down the right hand side. I don't see how one can keep the ball in the fairway, as the slope feeds everything into the bunker. On top of that, the sand in the bunker is brutal. It's the ultra powdery beach sand, and not the typical stuff you see in fairway bunkers. My drive hit the fairway, and rolled into the bunker. I'm over 200 yards out, and trying to pick a hybrid perfectly clean from the soft sand. Of course I catch it a fraction fat, and poof, a nice 50 yard shot.

The other hole I didn't like had the same problem, #13. The fairway slopes to the right, and feeds the ball behind a clump of trees. You then have to hit a nasty fade/slice around the trees to hit the green.

I actually enjoyed #14. It's a 306 yard hole with a 50+ foot elevated tee. It's a hybrid/wedge hole. :-)
