Well, it seems to work. I got it in November (xmas present to myself) and from the handful of times that I was able to get out, it seemed to go pretty well. I'm pumped about this coming season and gettin to see what this thing can do.

Yeah, this is only the medium version. They make one that's 1000 grams.

Nice set up. Is the Hibore that much straighter on mishits? About that heavy club. I built one that weighs 620 grams. I find that if I use it for more then a min or two before I'm about to play it can kill my tempo. I almost have to try to swing slower after using it . What do you think?

I can't really comment on the performance of the Hibore just yet. I got it through Joe Kwok right around Thanksgiving. I live in the Northeast (CT), so I usually just pack the clubs up and don't touch them until the spring time. So I don't have much playing experience with it just yet. But I'll be putting up a review later in March, when I get back from a little 2 week vacation in FL.

 

As for the heavy hitter, yes, it does mess with your tempo when you first start swinging it. The instructions that came with the club talked about how you should hit a few pitch shots with a wedge, then 5 slow swings with the heavy club and keep doing that for a range session. Once you've done this routine for a part of your practice session for a few days, you don't even notice the weight difference.

 

Another thing that I do when I use it to loosen up before tournament rounds is after I swing it or hit a few balls with it, I'll grab my driver and flip it around so that I'm holding it by the head and make practice swings. This helps bring back my feeling and sense of the club head immediately.

Just talking to Yes! and the Dianna now comes with a sight-line on the flange.

The early Dianna models had no sight-line at all.
