Michigan Golf 2013 ....where have you been?

Got quite a few new ones in, living in CA for 6 months, plus a couple of other good ones in other states. Highlights were Valhalla, Muirfield Village (not new, but still awesome), Rustic Canyon (CA), Cinnibar Hills (CA), Hidden Valley (CA), and Warwick Hills.

New courses in MI:
Warwick Hills
Boyne Monument
Emerald Vale
Thornapple Pointe
Quail Ridge (11 holes of it, before we got thunderstormed out)

Top 5 that I really want to make happen sometime in the near future:
Oakland Hills South
Orchard Lake CC
Franklin Hills CC
Dunes Club
Harbor Shores

Didn't play a ton of new courses this year. In Michigan, there was

Yarrow(BG5 it seems like a lifetime ago),
Eagle Eye(brutally slow round),
Forest Akers West(with larrybud-great layout).

Out of state in Rochester was Ravenwood(absolutely fantastic-play it every chance you get), Greystone(avoid). In Florida new course was Martin Downs with OW. Ontario the only new one was Heron Point for my mid am qualifier that was a very qualified disaster...lol...


Do you guys find that you want to play a new course, but you also want to go back to the ones you liked and play it again to give it another shot to score better? I'm not sure if we were to go back to Kalamazoo I'd want to play one of the others over taking another shot at Yarrow and trying to put down a number...
