We couldn't think of a better place for these two hard working practice green icons than in the homes of a couple Club Cameron members. 17 pictured and the option to go to original (18). Both answers are there (17 & 18). I think all options are listed in the 17 though. Little more checking to do.

I just hope there are definite answers and they explain the correct answers in the end. I hope it doesn't turn out like the Cameron Collector contest......which pissed more people off after few questions they took several answers to one question!!!

I really dont get it, why do people single out Cameron? There are other manufacturers who have anser type and other Ping type heads as their design inspiration.

YES WE GET IT OK, PING & KARSTEN thought of it first. What the heck do you want a national monument? Do you want all Cameron and all other manufacturers to put "Inspired by Karsten" on the sole plate?

Its like saying all other cars other than FORD are copycats because they owe their design to the Model T.

You cant compare a Model T to a McLaren or Enzo, but you're suggesting that Cameron is a Xerox shop because his designs are refined versions of Karsten designs (which happen to be patents have long expired)?

I'm really impressed with the Machine shop putters. The quality of his work, nice ideas with transformer heads and interesting millings and hosel bends and cool integration of tungsten. But I dont see anyone calling him a Xerox Copy shop even though his heads are Anser type. I would go far enough to say that some of his designs were very similar to Scotty's NP2 heads with the site dots (like Tiger's), the horseshoe weight bar, etc. BUT isnt it obvious that Dave Billings has his own style and look? Like Scotty and Ping, these putters are a refinement of a Scotty design. How is that a bad thing? I'm actually glad that Dave has come out with his putters, it might push Scotty to design other innovative changes to his lines. Competition is never a bad thing!

As far as the original post goes.... question 4 isnt that much a trick question, it asks how many grips there are available, and there are 17. I think you guys are reading too much into it? "restore to original" isnt a grip selection, it's a request. Sometimes they'll give you the original type if its available as a "NOS", but usually they pick the grip out of the 17 that best matches. If this is a trick question, I'll be shocked. I'm sure that they'll post the answers after the selection is made.

If you're looking for the former name of Scotty's Studio, go to his website, click on the "studio" tab on the top left, and click on "studio tour". You'll find the answer there.

Also people should understand that golf Tech, especially in putters, is starting to reach its limit, with shapes, inserts, materials etc. Its getting tough to be innovative and "original". People talk like it's a piece of cake. IF its so EASY to be ORIGINAL, where is YOUR ORIGINAL DESIGN?
