Fundraising for Autism

I don't know if I am allows to post this here so I won't share the link right away until somebody confirms yay or nay.

 

I am an avid golfer and last year I got into cycling because I have poor cardiovascular endurance and I hate to run. We my wife two best friends husbands are good golf buddies and they also ride. They talked me into signing up for a Bike ride/race fundraiser for Autism. It is called Bike to the Beach. The leg I signed up for is from Washington, D.C. to Dewey Beach, DE. It is a little over 100mi. Now the fun part. I typically ride 10-20 miles and I am beat. Time to train. They set a fundraising goal for every rider of $500. I plan on asking family and co-workers but I don't see myself coming close. I figured I would ask this community since you guys are very charitable. There is no minimum and maximum donation. If you want to donate please let me know and I will share the link. All donations are done online through their website under my rider profile. If for any reason this is against the rules, mos please close the thread, I don't want to be bashed for trying to do something good for the cause.

 

FYI I haven't rode my bike in 5 months, yay newborn. This should be fun.
