Dynamic Gold R300 to Nippon NS Pro 950 GH HT stiff

I have a question regarding changing to these shafts, i'm currently playing a set of Razr X tours R300 but someone has offered a swap for a set of Nike VRs Forged with the Nippon 950 GH HT stiff, is there a lot of difference in flex with these 2 shafts because of the lighter weight?, or would I be better off with the Reg flex in the Nippons, i'm going to be buying a set of Covert 2.0 forged irons in the next month or so, so this seems like a idea chance to try the stiff in playing conditions, for a bit of info, before the Razr X I was using a set of Xforged 2013 with PXi 5.5 and although it was to much club for me I thought the shafts felt good, especially on good shots, was not losing them right, but the bad shots were bad!!!!!...wasn't sure if it was the shaft or club, I do find the R300s a bit low flight for me though and the Nippon in the Nikes being the HT this should higher the flight....just need some advice on flex before I go ahead and swap...thanks in advance...

I always try to avoid to compare shafts that are as different as the two you mention. The deviation n weight is about 30 gr which is more than 30%. Along with that the Dynamic Golf goes flatter while the Nippon has a higher trajectory. So really hard to compare them side to side - might be a bit like comparing apples an pears.

First i would find out if a lighter or headvier shaft suits you better - and then i'd compare different shafts in this range. With the help a professional fitter, of course.

As back tees mentioned, there will be a huge difference in weight between the two shafts. I bought a set of VRS forged (in regular - I'm right on the line between stiff and regular), and I'm finding they are too light for me, especially in the short irons. I tried upping the swing weight, but I'm just more comfortable with about a 110g shaft or so. When I did make good contact with them, the flight is nice, but I prefer a high flight.

In retrospect, I probably should have gotten them in stiff. They feel far more loose than my old irons, which had the PING AWT in regular.
