Center shafts......fixer enough?

They say no more pull/pushes........really??

Hi all,

I've been told and read a share about the benefits of center shafted putters, disliked by most, some say that are a great help for a better follow throug swing, and thus for a better putt, specially if you have a very pendular swing..... even better when used is a mallet like a 2ball. They say that if you push/pull the ball, this stick will help you reduce those mistakes.

What do you think?
How many of you carry one of these in your bag?
Any one is inloved with these center shafts?

A bad stroke is a bad stroke is a bad stroke . With a center shaft it seems to help equal out the toe and heel weighting. I think this also helps in slowing the "gate " action (imagine a gate on a fence swinging closed ) If the ball isnt where the gate squares push, block, pull or yank. I have a few Im reading and learning more and more im leaning more twoards center shafted stuff each day.

I just got a center-shafted TP Mills and I think it helps me to not pull the ball, which was 90% of my problem when mishitting putts. I think it will make it more likely to push the ball, but that's more than a fair trade for me.

I find that the center shaft has helped both my alignment and consistency striking the center of the face. The ball sets up right in line with the shaft and with my stroke, which has the putter shaft moving straight back and through, helps me start the ball on line more often than not. But with a lousy stroke I can still push/pull any putt on the planet
