Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.2 X Tour Spec vs. Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.3X Tour Spec

Guys looking hard at these shafts and I know the 7.2 gets amazing reviews but curious if anyone has hit both? Will be putting into Bio Cell driver

Both great shafts and hard to compare really. 7.3 has great kick and might launch a tad higher. The 7.2 feels tight and has great dispersion, more boardy than the 7.3. Fuji shafts in general are the best out IMO and both would play well in that head. Hard to say which is better without seeing you're tempo. It's WRX so I'd say get both and sell the loser of the 2 in the bst.

Fuji told me once in an email reply if all things remained constant, the .3 would launch 1-1.5° Higher and spin 2-300 more than .2

Having both currently, I agree with the above post. The .3 feels better but the .2 seems a little tighter. I don't access to actual numbers but they aren't really differnt in terms of launch when I hit them on the range or on course. The .2 is definitely a low launch and .3 is fairly low itself. I've read a few members claim that the .3 is a mid launch, but that's not been my experience.

I love them both and FOR ME I play the .3 as it performered better for my swing

The 7.3 is still a very tight shaft, not as tight as the 7.2 but it's definitely no slouch. I came from a Rombax 7z08 and that thing felt like a noodle and launched a lot higher than my 7.3 does now.

I agree with all of the above. I just recently trimmed .5" off the tip of my 7.3 and now, it may knock the 7.2 out of my bag. Only had a range session with it so far though...I was gonna throw it in the driver today but it was way too windy and I didn't want to spoil this early rekindled relationship. The 7.3 has that Fubuki like kick...only tighter.

Looks like I will buy both and then give everyone a chance at the "looser" haha thanks for the help

I owned and played both in a 913d3 at 10.5 a1. The difference between actual numbers was a degree higher and 150 more revs. with the 7.3x compared to the 7.2x. I will say, that the 7.3 is noticeably smoother...noticably.

Just pick up an elements chrome instead and you can thank me later.

How does the chrome compaire and how does their flex code work?
