Rogue Sub Zero at 45" need to add head weight but where?

I just got Rogue SZ from Cally preowned at -1/2" so it plays at 45". I expected it to come with heavier weights but it did not so I presume they just cut the shaft and did not adjust the sw. It has the 2g and 14g weight. By losing 1/2" I need to add 6g to the head which leads to my question. Would it be better to get a 8g weight to replace the 2g and what would that do to the launch and spin? In the meantime I'm going to experiment with some lead tape, but would you put the tape where the lighter weight is or just somewhere in the middle?

That amount of weight is not going to matter for influencing ball flight. Put it wherever you want. I personally think those Callaways can always benefit from a little Hotmelt, get the weight but also smooth out the sound a bit.

I agree with Adam, don't worry about what an additional 6g will do to your launch and spin. When adding weight to any club, but particularly the driver, you want to to be focusing on how it feels and how it is impacting your strike location which will have a 10x greater impact on your spin rate. Experimenting with lead tape first is good. Buy a roll and start adding it to the head in a place that is easy to remove and keep adding until it feels right, or until your strikes are the most consistent. Then you can order the appropriate weight and remove the lead tape.
