Chrome Soft X

I had recently had a dozen gifted to me by a close friend. I thanked him and never really gave much thought to using them because I have been playing with the Wilson 50 Elite and loving my results with such a "cheap" ball. Recently in some tournaments that have been at private country clubs with hard slick greens I have used the Chrome Soft X in hopes of taking advantage of the increased spin. I must say, these balls are really nice. My favorite high end ball has always been Srixon Z Star followed by the Pro V (regular and X). I have played Callaway and Bridgestone in the past as well but never had consistent enough results to give them the WOW vote. After playing the CSx I have recently switched up my high-end list to 1. Z-Star 2. CSx 3. Pro V1x... followed by the rest

Just my opinion...

I still love me some Wilson 50 Elite though!!!

Hard as rock? you could blame the chrome soft line for many things, BESIDES for hard feel. In fact, these are the softest Tour Balls in the entire market, both Regular and X. I guess you need to try the Srixon XV, you will probably think you hit a concrete brick.

They are the worse tour balls as well. Not one tour pro plays them and they didn’t fair to well in the mgs golf ball study which now Callaway said they are going to put $50 million into fixing their ball an qa/qc

CSX is a real decent ball for us fun players. You're beyond stupid comparing our playing ability to those guys on Tour @GoGoErky . You're not on tour. You'll never be on tour. You're voice doesn't matter in that comparison (or at all). OP likes the ball and that'll all he needs.

If you think CSX is a hard ball, give the Chrome Tour a try. You can grab them on MG Golf and they're firmer and definitely fly further by a few yards, not that I care.
