Scottsdale Area Course Selection Struggle - Help

Looking for some WRX'ers input on course options for the last week of November. My wife and I are heading down for 3-4 days of golf looking to play 1-2 top courses and 1-2 nice but not break the bank courses. (coming from Calgary with our low dollar). Previous trips we have played We-ko-pa (Cholla ), Eagle Mountain, TPC Champions (before redesign), Legend Trail, Boulders (North) and Kierland. Some courses I am considering but would love some feedback are; Wildfire (Palmer), Verde River, Longbow. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Verrado Founders and Victory will be two of the best values for November. It’s a 45 minute drive, maybe a little more depending on where you are staying.

Wekopa Saguaro is a must play IMO

Troon North Monument and Pinnacle will be 250ish for morning tee time, but both great courses.

TPC Stadium is solid but I wouldn’t pay 300 to play it

Both Wildfire courses are good values at 100 or less. Might get a golf now deal for that price.

Ak Chin Southern Dunes is worth the drive. Probably 150-175 for morning tee time

Whirlwind has two courses that are worth playing. Nothing special but solid. At 100 or less I would play them.

No chance of getting on Wildfire or Whirlwind less than 100 in November even with Golf Now unless its at 3 O'clock

Verde River is a great sleeper course, definitely won't break the bank, in fantastic shape right now but that doesn't mean much about November. Longbow is a very good option, can be priced a little higher than you might expect. Wildfire Palmer isn't as good as either and will likely be pricier.

Thanks again for all the suggestions, I have 2 out of 3 courses selected/ booked. We-ko-pa Saguaro and Verde River just need to decide on course 3. For geographic context we are staying in North Scottsdale.

Add Legend Trail; Boulders if you want more eye candy than course;

I live in Florida and just got back from a golf trip to AZ. We played 36 at Grayhawk, 18 at Quintero and 18 and Wekopa Saguaro. I have also played Troon North Pinnacle in years past. The experience at Grayhawk was the best. Everything from customer service, to the food to the golf was amazing. Cold towels handed out from the cart girls and both courses not a single blade of grass out of place. Quintero is VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS, also not a blade of grass out of place. A lot of straight away par 4s but hands down the best par 3s you will ever play because the tee boxes are 100 ft + in the air. Second time playing Wekopah Saguaro, my heart is with that course for whatever reason. Beautiful vista views, greens are great and the course is manicured impeccably. Depending on how good of a golfer you are, Raptor at Grayhawk was probably the best all around but its a little more narrow. Wekopah I loved, wider fairways. If you want views go to Quintero.
