Adams Tour Prototype 3 wood - what is this?

Anyone recognize this Adams "prototype" 3 wood? What is it? What is it like? Is it definitely tour issue? When was it released in relations to the 4060 etc?

Thanks for the reply. Why on earth would anyone stamp tour prototype on a retail club?

It's on their website. The RPM Tour has "Tour Prototype" on it. I don't know why they do it but it still looks like a nice club. What does it play like?

I haven't hit it yet. If I do, I'll try to post a review.

if i'm not mistaken i think their pugelli wedges have tour prototype written on them as well even the retail ones.

the tour prototype was a pretty lame idea on the retail clubs. Although they do have it on their actual tour stuff, which obviously makes sense and looks much better.

I have one of the Tour versions and the difference is the tour version has LP under the Redline. There is no alignment mark on either model. The clubs, even the retail, sit very nice with a slightly open look-thanks-Steve

Anyway to get a picture of the face and at set-up. How much deeper is this compared to the regular retail offerings which are very shallow??

I actually don't know if it is deeper on the tour retail vs. tour. The tour is deeper than the other 2 versions, and I have measured the face against a R7 and there is an 1/8 of an inch difference-not much. The Adams drops off more to the back. There is a different sole evidently, but I don't have a retail to put it against. Steve
