Diablo Edge Tour Fairway and Hybrids

I cant compare the two but will tell you that the Diablo Edge Tour fairways and hybrids are some of the best I have seen in a long time. Very appealing to the eye.

I didn't hit them last night but they look awesome in person. The Diablo edge driver is ugly as sin but the tour stuff looks just great especially the hybrid.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to go ahead and order the Tour FW and hybrids. Give them a shot, and hopefully they work out well.

if you go with edge fairways an hybrids. those diablo forged irons would
sure look good in the bag.

Tried the tour 5 wood at lunch and it was excellent. Long and straight. They didn't have any driver but tomorrow they will have some.

I've used the Diablo Edge Tour Hybrid for 4 rounds now and it is an awesome piece of kit. It looks great at address and the trajectory is superb however The stock shaft is just ok. If I was to buy one (I've been using the demo) I would upgrade the shaft to something decent. I am considering getting the Driver, 3 wood and hybrid but it depends how much the shaft upgrade would be.

the tour fairways are legit. i have a driver swing of 112-116 and i was carrying the stock stiff tour 15* around 270-280 with my longest carry being 293. these things are long and they get up easy. the edge tour driver looks great but the sound and the shaft are both very sketch. the fw shaft is very soft feeling in the stiff flex for my swing, but the club doesnt feel too light which is commonly a problem for me with fairway woods

Just an FYI...you can upgrade the shaft in the Tour fairway wood to an Aldila NV 85 for $0 upcharge

I hit the driver and FW today. All they had in the driver was an 8.5* with the Aldila Habanero shaft. Great feeling club, high, flat bombs. I ordered one the other day (before hitting it) at 9.5* w/ Diamana Blue 73, tipped 1/2". I just validated that decision--should be perfect. Although I didn't care for the stock shaft, the driver was an absolute bomber.

I liked the performance of the FW but I will hold off--have a Bridgestone J38 coming in and I thought the Callaway Tour FW looked a little triangular--great performance though, and that's what matters.

I didn't hit the Tour hybrid--my Ping Rapture hybrid w/ VS Proto 80 is firmly in the bag--no need for me to look any further for that spot

The Diablo Edge Tour Hybrid will be my next purchase. This hybrid is awesome. Easy to hit, and I don't hook it like most hybrids.

I haven't had a Callaway product in my bag since the old Steelheads but the Edge Tour hybrid and fairways are the best products I've seen and hit in 10 years. All the classic lines and feel of Tour Edge Exotics, with even better performance. I was literally stunned. These will become the best selling fairways and hybrids of 2010. No one else will be even close.

Great to hear, because I went ahead and ordered the FW and 2 hybrids, lol. Thanks for the input.

I was Golfsmith yesterday and was looking at an Edge Tour 3-wood and was shocked to see that it has a closed face angle. The non-tour model sat extremely closed and I was shocked to see that the Tour model also sat closed. Shouldn't a tour model sit square or slighty open?

I've got a Tour 13*, and it is in NO way closed, appears at least 1* open. I can't give feedback on it yet, as I've only hit about 10 balls with it. It either rains or snows every flipping weekend right now, and since I write estimates on damaged vehicles for a living, I'm too busy during the week to touch a golf club....When does spring start again?

I thought the same...looked just a tad closed but it measures almost a degree open. I think I'm just one of those guys that square looks closed and open looks square--I'm sure I have some alignment issues, LOL.

Anyone got some info on the hosel diametre of the hybrid?
