Fubuki tour vs fubuki alpha

No testing experience but the titleist chart is for stiff flex shafts.

If you look on the MItsubishi website it lists the alpha in stiff as a mid kick shaft whereas the tour is mid/high kick in stiff.

In X flex however alpha would be lower. Remember only the Alpha 60 is on on the titleist chart.

also remember the Titleist chart has many errors in it, if I remember correctly this was also incorrect and the tour tends to launch higher than the alpha. Any fitters or shafts guru's care to comment?

I have owned and played all three.

Tour was highest launch, then the Alpha, then the K series.

Keep in mind you need to compare weights equally. The fubuki tour 73 will launch lower than tour 63. Honestly, in my experience, the difference in launch between the alpha and the tour was barely discern able. The K, however, is a totally different animal than either shaft. It's in a league all it's own.

Feel that the Tour launches a touch higher than the Alpha but with more spin (and worse dispersion) The K is the highest launching, lowest spin, and tightest dispersion.

As Carlo said, that is assuming weights are identical. I had a 63 Tour that made the moon duck sometimes but never had that issue with a 73

I am currently Trying to figure out the best fubuki for me. The k launches lower than the tour by a long shot, for me. And for me the tour is softer profile all around than the K. But installed in my J 40 430 it is awesome, the tour with this head launches mid and the tip in the long hosel feels more secure. The K feels more stiff tip than the tour.

I have Ax installed in my fairway and hybrid, I think these are very good. Would the alpha feel the same in the driver? My question is not with launch or spin but which fubuki feels the most stout? I assume the tour feels the softest overall, so does the alpha installed in a driver feel more stout or a stiffer overall profile than the K? And would the tour 73 be more stable than the tour 63?

As I said the 73 tour was much better for me than the 63. That was some time ago last year, but I remember needing to go up to the 73. This thread has actually got me looking for another 73x

I would say that to ME the alpha feels most similar to the axs. All are extremely stable. But like Carlo said, the K is its own monster. You would be doing yourself an injustice if you didn't try it.

Curious as to what head your using? Carlo and I are ALWAYS talking about fubukis and I knew I launched mine higher, but Im also a Supertri fan boy (high launch, high spin).

Im putting a 60 alpha into a 310 tonight or tomorrow. Want to get that on the range before I leave. Thinking that will be a beast.

If you're only comparing the Alpha vs the Tour, then the Alpha is significantly lower launch and spin relative to the Tour. Feels more stable too, but yet, still with the Fubuki smoothness. I haven't tried the K yet.

Curious as to how a Tour 73 x5ct stiff 42.5" 5 wood shaft would play in a 19* RBZ rescue. Bad idea to put fairway shafts in a hybrid or depend on the components?

If anybody needs a fubuki tour 73x just let me know I have a brand new one collecting dust that I would cut somebody on here a deal on!
