I used a Leupold for two years before it broke. I have now played about 5 real rounds and a handful of practice nines without it and feel completely lost. Been waffling between a GPS and returning to a range finder and think I'm pulling the trigger on a laser tomorrow.

Or maybe I'll get a GPS.

I just got my tour x and can not wait to use it tomorrow. I have a Garmin G6 and I'm really interested to see how far apart GPS is compared to a laser.

Has anyone compared to Tour X to the Z6 or X7 rangefinders. I'm debating which model to get.

As to the question above, I think ergonomics enters the equation. I've thought previous Bushnells suffered in terms of weight, shape, etc. The Tour X fits nicely in the hands when aiming, and makes it easier to hit a flag with one hand.

ONLY minor issue (and Im being very critical) the Tour X doesnt fit into the cart cup holder like the Leupold's do.
But the curve at the base of the Tour X is perfect.

My brother has the pro x7 and i have the tour x. If your x7 has slope i dont see too much reason to make the switch unless you are playing in tournies a lot. that being said i think the tour x is the best rangefinder on the market just not a great enough change with the x7.

[/quote]I decided to go with the Z6. I mostly walk and wanted the compactness of the Z6. The waterproof does matter to me as we get hit with allot of rain here in SE Georgia. They are both quick and easy to use. Personally slope is not that important to me. Golfsmith, TGW seems they are all currently selling the Z6 for $349.

Ok, my 2nd MINOR gripe with the TourZ vs the GX4i is that the Tour Z's eyepiece needs to be refocused more often.
I dont remember having to do this on the GX4i nearly as much as I do on the TZ. Otherwise, its a brilliant range finder.

I tried the X last week and was very impressed but turned off by th $499 price everywhere I looked. So again thanks and it seems the $100 off sale is still on..

Tour X arrived yesterday. Very impressive in all respects. Fast target acquisition and easy to use. Light weight and fits the hand nicely. Zero focus problems.
