Short Par 4 - Rickie Fowler (NO BUY SELL TRADE POSTS)

I wanted more things like the autographed Rickie flag and the like, things that you can't actually go buy online anywhere. Stuff like off the rack clothes and a bushnell rangefinder do nothing for me from this type of a box.

Yeah same here. Was hoping to get some sort of autographed memorabilia, especially since Rickie won the Waste Management Open. I'll probably cancel after 1 or 2 more boxes. Probably going to end up selling quite a few of the items I've received, probably only going to keep the pants from this month's box, and the Puma pullover that was sent a few boxes ago.

I’m giving it through the majors. If I get 3 out of 4 good boxes during this major championship run then I’ll hang around for a while. Hey Short Par 4 if you are following this thread you know what a great box would be that wouldn’t cost you hardly anything.... a signed flag, pic, scorecard with Rickie and the current OK State team. That would be sick, would make sense being in the Rickie box, and would be a cool idea for the members.

Screaming wedge and glove. Thoughts that it could be anything else or including anything else? The big question mark is the "#1-7" piece. Still waiting for them to include the new velcro hats....starting to think I'll have to buy outright.

Received the email from SP4 that this month's box is being prepped for shipping. The fedex details show the following:

L - LH L - #8+

I'm guessing, the L is for a Large size shirt (as was mentioned previously), the LH L is maybe for a glove (Left Hand, Large)? Not sure what the #8+ may stand for. Any ideas?

Interesting that @raheelc's is so much more different than mine. Maybe 1-7 means you've gotten 7 or less boxes and 8+ means for those who have received more than 8? I started in late December.

So if you didn't get the wedge promo previously they're clearing out their stock and if you did you're getting a shirt and a glove and nothing else (sarcasm...kinda). LOL

Who knows! This month's box will actually be my 8th box, so it is fairly possible that you are correct. I've already received the wedge promo from last year, so I have a feeling you're probably spot on. I've been hoping for some sort of autographed memorabilia for past few months, especially since Rickie won the Waste Management Open, but haven't gotten anything to that degree. Most of the apparel is, while pretty nice quality, are items that I could find somewhere else for the same or lower price (minus Rickie's sponsor logos).

If I get that old wedge that everyone else got months ago I am out. That would be compete BS!

How are you guys that talked to someone on the phone getting a hold of him. I need to get some stuff straight. My last box with the jackpot pants, which I really liked, they sent me the wrong size. They told me to send them back and they would send me the right size immediately. Well after waiting 3 weeks with no pants I decided to check on it. When I brought it up to their cs chat on their website the person told me no pants were shipped and they don’t have my size!!! So they basically just said f it we just won’t send him anything or let him know nothing is coming. I mean what kind of bs is that? Now it looks like I’m getting a wedge everyone else got 8 months ago! This is ridiculous

Just realized....they offered a mad discount in their shop after the WMO win for Rickie. That included the wedge. If they send people the exact same wedge they may have even more very unhappy customers. I’m sure most who wanted the wedge and weren’t members when it was sent used it on that promo. ?

 

Gonna be interesting in 2 weeks when this thing finally arrives. (Still think they should have quicker shipping for their highest tier customers but that’s a whole different conversation.)

The RH wedge that was sent in the fall is now available on Cobra's website at 50% off (from 250 to 125)

So I checked out the SP4 hashtag on Instagram to see if there were any clues for the month. Looks like the executive box level ($100) got their shipment already. It’s a slightly tweaked colorway of the shoes we received in December. Assuming the towel and marker chip are the same pricing as the (admittedly very nice) socks, I’m confused by the pricing of these boxes for the contents.

 

Thinking this is the final decider for me regardless of what arrives in the next week.

If anyone is interested I doubt I’ll be keeping the 56* wedge coming to me. I am anxious to see what everyone else gets. Pretty interesting that I got the white/blue/pink colorway NXT Pros and a pretty nice towel in my Executive box and the Rickie box got the same shoes in a different colorway and 2 pair of socks. Seems to me that’s pretty even. I would expect more in the Rickie box.

If you sign in and select "shop" it's a bit barren at the moment, but had a lot of past Rickie stuff when he won the WMO. If you go to their Instagram page and select the picture of the shoes we received in December they were using the shoes, wedge, and a few lower value items from Puma to advertise the "when Rickie wins, you win...50% off Puma and RF items" promo.

 

Basically, they sold Rickie items to everyone in celebration of Rickie's win. The post before that teases a "special announcement tomorrow" for members. Turns out it was just a discount code to buy stuff you may have already received.

 

I'm actually pretty shocked they haven't popped over here to have a conversation. The past few pages have turned quite south for opinions. We went from "pretty good but not great" to "let them keep working the kinks out" to "man they're really dropping the ball for their highest paying members" pretty darn quickly.

Thats what happens when you welch on all your promises and leave your customers completely in the dark about it. Some guy, Todd?, has sent me a couple emails trying to get in touch via phone but nothing has come of it yet

Yup. Most of their instagram comments have at least one dissatisfied Rickie box customer. They usually respond (so that's good at least), but rarely do they actually apologize more than "our hands were tied."

 

Also, how the heck did this thing ship on the 17th, reach Hagerstown, MD (75 miles away from me) today and still have a delivery date of the 29th? I'm starting to think they're paying FedEx to give the latest possible delivery. I didn't even know FedEx had the ability to move this slow. I could literally walk from my house to the FedEx facility, grab the item, and walk back....and still beat them to delivery at the current rate.

I have been critical of them for sure. I originally signed up for the Rickie Fowler and Wes Bryan boxes ( I just started playing and thought, "eh, I need some golf clothes anyway". I am a big cobra / puma guy as I love loud colors and most things I own are orange. I was pretty disappointed in many of the boxes, however some of them to me did turn out to be home runs.

I cancelled the Rickie Fowler box after finding out they would not be sending the rangefinder or sunglasses as when I did the math it wasn't adding up for me. THEY, stopped offering the Wes Bryan box all on their own and cancelled my membership there. I contacted them to say that I thought it was pretty crappy that they just kinda snuck the cancellation in and never notified me. (they did say they sent out emails, but I checked every spam/inbox email I got and did not get it). They did make it up to me though. They sent me a box with an awesome sketchers pullover, base layer shirt, and sketchers golf pants for free.

 

I have now switched over the fairway box as I was not going to keep paying for the Fowler box at that cost. I got my second fairway box from them and well.... I think they did a great job matching my style. they are 2 for 2 with the fairway boxes.

What came in the fairway box this month? The day mine was scheduled for delivery I got a notice saying it was undeliverable due to damage. Contacted SP4 and they said they'd look into it and ship me a new box within 3-5 business days. New shipping label wasn't even created until today.

I get the loud and wild style (interestingly enough my box was opened and damaged as well, though all contents seem to be there. I got a pair of pink matte grey pants, a blue under armor polo, a navy puma stretch belt, & a SP4 green and yellow ball marker.

 

I think they are great, but I'm not sure pink pants are for everyone. For 50 bucks though, Im quite happy.
