Adams Speedline Fast 10 Shaft length?

46.125" Sound Ridiculous

Why in the world do club manufacturers keep making clubs longer and longer? Next they will be issuing Long Drive shafts from the factory for recreational golfers. I for one like a 44.5" - 45" shaft as it offers the best of both worlds.

On another note, does anybody have any launch monitor comparisons between the Fast 10 and the 9015D or 9032LS?

It is very long, although the new Burner is coming in at 46.5" so the LD shaft length is right around the corner.

I'll get some LM numbers when I get my Fast 10 from my rep (and re-shaft/shorten and re-weight the head).

Here's another thread on the Speedline.

As I mentioned in it, of the 27 new dirvers tested in feb Golf mag,
it's the only one the testers said they would buy.

If they don't lengthen the shaft they can't say it will go longer....

Expanding on this thought, the USGA limits the COR of Drivers. At this point every company is operating at or very close to the COR limit. Therefore the only way to go longer at this point is more club head speed since you cannot possibly make a hotter head than what is currently out there. How do you get more club head speed? Increase shaft length and Aerodynamics while decreasing weight. The only way companies can get you to buy the new stick is to say it's better than the last stick. This is the only way to make it "better" to the average consumer.
