Which style do you prefer, blade or mallet?

Ok, so I have heard a lot of opinions, and seens a lot of interesting putters out and about and now I want to know which you prefer and why. So what it be, a mallet or a blade. ( Just so you know I play a sabertooth white hot xg and I love it.)

I find that with a blade I occasionally yip in my backswing... The added size of the mallet helps me keep it cleaner and smoother.

Definitely blade. Mallets give ME the yips!

The Sabertooth rules! I can't remember the last time I missed from inside 4-feet (slight exaggeration )!

I use blades and mallets depending on the course and how I feel. I enjoy using a variety of putters during the season.

I've used a mallet for years and now my swing is grooved for the heavier club I can't really putt with a blade.

I play a bb2 blade for its simplicity, I have an odyssey 2 ball and it just didnt work for me because I wasnt a good putter when I started. the blade is simple, I pick my line and im not distracted by the putter. I give you guys a lot of credit if you can putt well with the 2 ball or sabertooth mallet tho, it def balanced my stroke but I putted so poorly with it

Blade for me. I have tried a few mallets but they never did fit my eye quite right.

Lifetime blade player here. Might pick up a Cleveland #2 (mid mallet) this year as an experiment.

Mallet...my Squareback 2 has the looks of a blade, but it's blown up to the size of a mallet. This makes it very easy to line up, and the 5-footers are a breeze.

Prefer the look of blades but play better with mallets, they just help me keep a smooth stroke thru the ball.

Someone above used the phrase "fits my eye". That goes for me also. I've used a number of putter styles over the years and have settled on a blade, specifically an Anser style with a "plumbers neck", simply because that is what fits my eye after years of trial. Currently, I am using a Heavy Putter, but it looks just like an Anser.
