Any love for Odyssey Black Series Tour 2 Ball Blade

Some old threads around but looking for more opinions!

Now that this bad boy has been out for a while I'm curious to see if it's been bagged, is still in the bag, what it kicked out, etc.. There were some early posts on it, but not much since.

I really liked it in the store and they are finally closing in to the $200 mark on ebay so I'd like to pick one up. Anyone still gaming one and still loving it? I'm not seeing many used ones, but am not sure if that's because they are sitting on the shelves or working too good to sell.

I tried it in the store, liked it, looked at the $299 price and put it back. I had an older one and never adjusted to the large size of visual aid. I guess 20 plus years of looking at a line is burned in my head.

Ya, I went through something similar with a center shafted 2 ball a few years ago. I never "got" the ball alignment thing until I used this one. Maybe the center shaft "blocked" the ball line up too much. Maybe it's the black outline of this one. Maybe the balance is just right for me? Maybe the face is just that freekin' smokin' on this one?

Either way, I like it a lot. I see one in my future.

I really have to get rid of the other putters sitting in my office though. If my wife finds them *and* a new box, my ace is sleeping on the couch.

[size="3"]I bought a Tour Designs 2 ball blade and it is a really nice putter with great feel. I know you wanted to know what it kicked out of the bag, but I unexpectedly won an auction on the bay for a Bettinardi that I could not resist bidding on. I love the Betti so I am gaming it. I did play a few rounds with the Odyssey and if you like the alignment of a 2 ball and the feel of a carbon steel putter this is without a doubt the one to get. I had used a 2 ball blade with the xg insert and I really just did not like the feel of the insert. [/size]

I was never really a fan of the 2 ball blades. The Tour Design putters are all nice, but I probably like the 2 ball the least. I wish the made the regular mallet style with the milled face.
