Best Kept Secret in Golf?

Amazing courses you have never heard of...

I dont know about all you guys, but i played this course in Redmond, OR today called Aspen Lakes, and it is soooo beautiful! it is the second time i have played there, and in my two trips there, there has hardly been a soul around. even the locals tell me that its almost never full, but it is easily one of the nicest golf courses i have ever seen, and have never heard a word about it. it is such an amazing course, and it has several very tough holes too. anyways, has anyone else ever played at Aspen Lakes? or even heard of it? if not, tell me about courses that you have been too that could be 'the best kept secret in golf'

Yea, that was where the Houchens was. It was the best and hardest course I have ever played.

 

The greens were like landing it on the cart path and they said they were running 13½ on the stimp. The rough was 5 inch Kentucky Blue Grass rough and the fairways were perfectly manicured bent grass.

 

The range was the best driving range I have ever seen.

Here is the 14th hole it was like 310 yards but if you took it over the pond it was about 260 yard carry to the green. It would've been a better hole if there was a risk to taking it at the green. They need to make it an island green with either water or a bunker surrounding it.

Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kansas. One of the best in the country of course that is just my opinion.

They had a bunch of pins, and where you landed shots was bent with the 5 inch Kentucky Blue Grass surrounding it forming fairways and greens. The range played like a golf course because you could hit shots and spin them and hit a variety of shots that reacted the way you want them to
