I would be more curious to see the distance difference between her 25* hybrid and the 5 iron. IMO rather odd bag set up, I wonder if it was specifc to the open at Oakmont or if that is her normal set up. Her bag seems to be really top heavy with only 1 wedge and very close gaps in the woods and hybrid.

Seriously. Must have pretty slow and receptive greens if 54 is the highest wedge ...

How many more wedges does she really need? With the right grind, she can open that wedge up to 58 or so.

Why is Paula's driving distance mediocre?
She certainly is tall & strong compared to others who out drive her
by upto 50 yards.
[/quote]

She is not a very long hitter of the ball. If you spend some time examining her swing you can see why. She hits it well certainly but her swing is not built for distance.

BTW I am not saying she is short, just not as long as you would expect given her physical attributes.

That only lists 13 clubs, so her 14th must be another wedge, most likely a 58-60 Vokey.

That would make more sense especially with the greens at Oakmont, Apparently I am missing the attention to detail tonight probably doesnt have to due with the Jack and Coke :partytime2:

I would assume that the WITB list was from a TMaG source and they wished not to list any non-company products, such as her Bridgestone/Precept ball.

BTW Friends don't let friends drink and post. :cheesy:

Yet another good point re the TMAG source, as to the other I just shot -15 under at Pebble playing TW online golf so I am not quite to that level yet :drinks::cheesy:

older thread, but though I'd mention this is PC's "post-surgery" bag, with a few changes due to counteract lost length due to the injury and lack or practice, etc.

Typically in the past her bag would include an R7 or Burner 3w and then 19*, 22* hybrids and then irons starting at 4i, previously the R7 TP's but this year she has the R9 TP's in the bag. IIRC in the past she has played 54/58 vokey's, so most likely still has the 58 vokey.
