Im near Cherry Creek reservoir. I believe a day or two after they said it was 2 foot above flood levels. Appears to still be at that level. Last time I drove by the east side bank still appears to be under water.

Jackson, Empire, Riverside, North Sterling aren't capable of filling yet. I was looking forward to playing Common Ground a week ago, maybe next year? North Platte has a course on the river, Iron Eagle IIRC, only 5 of 18 holes are playable.

CommonGround says on their website that 9 holes are open for play. Was considering playing 9 next Sunday afternoon (10/13).

Their old country club is on the river too, I wonder if it's playable.

I think it is on the North Platte so it should be fine. The 2 plattes meet about 2 miles east of town.

I wish the weather would make up it's mind.

Playing golf on Monday. Yesterday, WUnderground said it would be sunny at 66. Today, 48. Yikes!

Grrrr. Now it's back up to 66, but now with a 40% chance of thunderstorms! 10am shotgun. Hopefully it stays away until we're drinking away at the open bar.

I bailed on playing yesterday because it was 25mph predicted. Ended up being decent!

I had never seen so much rain and hail fall at 9 in the morning! Our scramble got delayed 30 minutes (10:30am shotgun start). It was cold and breezy at the start, but it turned out really nice for the majority of the afternoon. By the time we were on our 14th hole, it started clouding up and getting cold again. We shot a respectable -8 for the scramble, which was good for 4th place. Coupled that it was for charity (not to mention the dinner and open bar afterwards), it was a great time. Sure beats working.

Nice! Was that with or without purchased mulligans? Ive been on a winning team 1 time and it was a lot of work (and mulligans).

We purchased six mulligans between us. Helped us turn 3-4 bad shots into birdies.

Definitely the most enjoyable scramble group I've played in. I had the lowest handicap, but we all contributed equally. Almost anything within 20 feet of the pin was a one-putt.

We played at Inverness Golf Club. Spectacular track, but it's really overpriced.
