The Bridgestone B330-RX is the lowest compression tour ball on the market today. Give it a try.

I think calling it a tour ball is a bit of a stretch. Most Bridgestone staff play the B330/S. I've tried the RX and they were crap, not remotely like a tour ball imo.

Probably some LPGA or Senior Tour players use it (Creamer?). No PGA use.

So, what results are going to be important to consider? (ie. ball speed, launch spin etc.) Is five or six solid strikes enough with each ball? Finally what clubs should I test? I was thinking driver, 4 iron, 8 iron and maybe 58 degree wedge. [/quote]
indoor ball testing is like indoor driver testing. wasting time!

I don't see a meaningful distance difference between most balls, off the tee or irons shots. For a lot of years, I tried to convince myself that there was a difference, but I'm not consistent enough to reproduce the diffs. This golf season, I am committed to using one ball type and that will be the 2013 ProV. I've found this ball to be as long as anything (tried most of them) and spins just right, especially off of low-spin sticks.

I played yesterday. Weather has been awful, but it was 60*s. At one point I found my self out on the back 9 mostly by myself. OK, here we go. so I pull some balls out of the bag left from last fall. ProV1, 330, So Lo, and a couple e6s. Had my own little driving contest. This is all carry now as the ground is not mush, but very soft. Two fairways both straight out. I hit them all. Same player, driver, swing. Don't want to live on the difference. AND none were clear winners. The balls took turns. My experience is like OPs. 'Tour' balls do spin more on short clubs but distance wise it is a wash unless you think 3-5-7 yds is whoop te do.

You absolutely will not lose that kind of distance in the air. You will sacrifice some roll compared to a hard 2 piece distance ball, but not 20-30 yards difference.

I agree comletely. With the driver the difference between golf balls is minimal.
