Where to get specific oakley lense???

Ok so I bought some flak jackets and have since bought a few pair of lenses. One of which is the vr28 black iridium. I'm in love with lense for golf. I also just bought some fast jackets in camo and I'm wondering if I can just buy the vr28 black iridium lense to go into the fast jacket frame I have. I know I can just use the flak jackets w/ vr28 black iridium for the golf course but I want to have that same lense for the fast jackets too. Plus I just love that lense for everyday wear as well. I can't seem to just find the vr28 BI lense for the fast jacket for sale anywhere. I know it comes with a certain type of fast jacket color but can't find just the lense. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

If those aren't available, the g30 is a free lenses and is "similar". Its not the same ... But its similar and is/was designed for golf.

Thx fellas. I will just call them as suggested. I have a pair of G30 lenses for the fast jackets but for some weird reason I don't like that my eyes are so visible. The vr28 black irid is perfect because it's a good contrast lense for golf but also dark enough to hide my wandering eyes. Lol. Honestly though I just don't like how I look in glasses where my eyes are so visible.

Yeah. Then you wouldn't want the 30 as its based on the more amber(I think) lenses. So the iridium doesn't have the same effect mirror wise.

I haven't had time to call oakley yet but it is crazy to me that they don't offer (or at least it appears they don't offer) the vr 28 black irid lense for the fast jacket. The white frame fj's come with vr 28 blk irid but you can't just buy that lense seperate. I absolutely love the vr 28 blk irid. They are great for golf and every other activity I do. Also good for just everyday wear. I wish I didn't have a complex about my eyes being visible because the G30 is a great lense otherwise. I suppose I will be wearing the flak jackets with vr28 blk irid more than the fast jackets. Oh well. Thx for the help gents.

Blue Iridium may be an option. It's a darker contrast lens with a base color similar to the VR. I just can't recall how mirrored the iridium coating is on this one. It is less see through than the G30, but not as blocking as the black iridium coatings. Oakley should be able to tell you. It is a good golfing lens though.

The VR28 Black iridium is an amber type base lens. The VR28 is the base tint and black iridium is the coating (darker and provides the mirror look).

I understand what the iridium is. I was thinking the v28 was a grey lens. Which ads to the mirror of a black iridium.

I just went there.. Odd, my frames came with the G30 iridium polarized... but I didnt see them available as a replacement... they have the G30, but not the G30 iridium...

I scratched mine.. bought some gold iridiums... but still want to replace them with the G30, as they are amazing...

VR28 definitely is a contrast lens. Darker lenses hide your eyes more, but the reflectivity is all the coating.

The g30 and g30 iridium are one in the same. I'm pretty dang sure anyway.

The link that was provided takes you to flak jacket lenses. I already have the vr28 blk irid lense for flak jackets and I freaking love it. I need vr28 blk irid for my fast jackets though.

They have them listed in the lenses differently the flack jacket that comes with the lenses is listed differently as well. So I dunno ...lol.

I'm going to try a couple of aftermarket lenses. I don't expect them to be very comparable. But wouldn't mind having some extra colors to make me look cool. Lol.

I was told by a very knowledgable guy that g30 irid and g30 are the same. Oakley just doesn't always list them the same every time. Which is pretty silly really bc they know that must cause some confusion.
I emailed oakley about the vr28 blk irid so I will let y'all know what they say. Thx guys

I used to work for oakley. You can buy just the lenses and they pop in and out fairly easy so either you can do them or you can take them to any oakley store and they do it free.

Yeah I know you can buy just lenses but I can't for the life of me find vr28 blk iridium lenses for my fast jackets. The fast jacket switchlock thing makes changing lenses a breeze but like I said I can't find vr28 blk irid lenses to put into them. I emailed oakley but haven't heard back yet.

Picked up my replacement lenses at the local Sunglass Hut in the mall. I despise going to the mall, yet was in the area. The staff was very helpful trying different lenses and popping them in and out of my frames. Reasonable cost also, $53.

I like them. When you get yours, make sure to clean them.. Couple of mine had a film on them that caused some distortion. Once I got them clean, they were good to go.

Are they as good as the real thing? No. But for the money the cost, they are absolutely worth a shot for anyone that wants some new looks.

The mirror side is actually better than the oakley ones. But that is more than likely part of the fact that they are not optically as good as the real thing.

I bought some ear socks from him too. Lost a nose piece.
