Why do you play the wedges upright but the irons standard?

I find most people play their wedges at a flatter lie angle than their irons.

wedges were custom ordered, irons were bought off the rack
I tend to hit my wedges off the toe for some reason
honestly everything works the way it is, so why change it, right?

the best irons I've ever had was the 712 AP2 w/C-tapers. Still regret getting rid of it. Bag looks great.

nothing major to report
got my 23 X2HP and officially took out the 5i today
actually havent hit it in probably 6-7 rounds, so imma club lighter anyways

the X2HP hybrid is pretty awesome and does just what I wanted it to
loving the same VTS Silver shaft in it, as the 20* XHP I have from a few years ago

getting some more time under my belt w the XHP 15 3w w the Dymatch 2.0 in it as well
took some getting used to, but I'm getting more comfortable every time I use it

have my first tournament (club champ) this weekend
first event like this in prob 6+ years
kinda nervous, but more excited than anything

also a few other events slotted for later in the month as well
probably the hardest I've worked on my game in a long time, hope to see some of that on course soon enough

this bag has been together a while now
starting to understand the importance of keeping crap around .... dunno, might be cured of the "itch" fellas

Nice Bag!. have not seen much conversation regarding thje ping s55's that you were supposed to take the AZ but took the taylormade mc /cb combo lol. How are they coming along? or did you sell those and keep just the ap2s and taylor mc/cb?

the S55's were in the bag for a short stint this winter
the TM's were good irons, I honestly liked them
but the AP2's have a lot of forgiveness built in a small package - just can't ignore the results they give me

they have been in the bag since golf officially started back in late May
longest I've played a set of irons!! LOL!

everything thats in the bag will stay the rest of the year
and to be honest into next season as well
one small exception will be the driver - just wanna test and see the 915 in person against the Cobra
and see how Callaway answers w ver 2 of the Alpha

didn't get to play in the Club Champ this weekend

wifey had a thing w her mom today, so I had my boy

ah well, all good

 

as a result, I scored this when I went to play w my son this am

picked er up for $99, stock "made for" VooDoo stiff shaft and all (was still in the plastic)

hit 9/9 fwy's and shot even par

I like it ... A LOT ;)
