BeCu Anser customization question

I have a Ping Anser putter that my Dad bought new a long time ago. I've spent the last 20+ years switching from putter to putter but I have decided to stick it out with the Anser. I've got about 230 to spend on the putter and am looking for some suggestions. Not sure what can be done with the petina or the face, almost everything I have seen is carbon steel. I don't want to leave it as is because years ago I painted it then did not like it and tried to remove it but all of it won't come out. So now I want to leave it to the hands of a professional to redo it and put a new shaft in.

1. What options for a petina would I have?

2. Can the face be milled?

3. Other suggestions...

Someone just recently got their BeCu customized with some face milling. Do a search for the thread in this forum.

The problem with getting work done on a BeCu is the whole hazardous materials restrictions, so only a few refinishers in certain states can work on them. As for the patina, I have always been a fan of natural aging of copper.
