Club Fitter in Northern NJ?

Hey everyone. Really interested in getting one of the new Callaway Big Bertha Drivers when they come out. Just having trouble deciding between the regular BB and the BB Alpha. I want to get fit for it and am looking for a good fitter. Anybody have any suggestions for somewhere to go get fit in Northern NJ? Thanks

Can't vouch personally but I have heard great things about Tim Mosel in denville ... Not sure if that is close to you but when I asked a similar question a few months back, his name came up most

He is really close to me and I know Tim well. He's a great guy but he's really into components and I know he doesn't have the Callaway heads at his shop for me to try

Novo golf in Tappan NY. Not the place to go if you already know what you want though. If you just want to hit the BB, go to PGA superstore or a place like that. If you want a real fitting, go to Novo and ask for Bill.

why not go to the callaway performance center at neshanic valley

Tim would not have clubs to try, I would do this, go to any golfsmith or golf galaxy and try both the head options on the simulator and see which one feels the best. Get the one in any stock option and take it to Tim to fit me for the right shaft.

Another simple option is to see Fred Glass at the Neshanic Valley Learning Center which is the Callaway Fitting Center and get fit for the driver.

Not dead set on the Callaway...just both really intrigue me and being a Callaway VIP member I can't beat the price

They have one of the widest selection of premium shafts (Graphite Design, Oban, Matrix, Mitsubishi, etc.) I've ever seen. Since you're interested in the Callaway BB, I know for a fact they have all/most of the premium shafts with Callaway tips.

I bought my custom-fitted EPON irons from them and have never looked back. If you just want to play with all the latest gear, go to the PGA SS or GG. However, if you want to get professionally fitted for a wide range of domestic and Japan-only clubs, go to Novogolf in Tappan, NY. The owner's name is Bill, tell him Jin sent you.

[color=#800080]Does Novo golf do full bag fittings ? I assumes they haves all the new big brand items ? How much is the costs ands do you hit outsides if done in the spring ? How long does the costs gets you. I haves been lookings for a tour levels fitting for the spring ands place closer to me is good , ands almost five hours for the whole bag prices but it is all indoors..[/color]

Yes, they do full bag fittings, right down to the putter. They have all the latest equipment from all the major U.S. and Japanese manufacturers.

The fitting center is indoors and covered, so you stay dry and warm in the Winter/cool in the Summer, but you hit the balls out to a 275-yard outdoor range.

I have no idea what they currently charge for fittings. I know they have stand-alone options for irons, driver, FWs, putters or combo. fitting packages (irons+driver, etc.).

No, I do not get a commission for recommending NOVOGOLF. I'm just a loyal customer who wants to see fellow WRXers taken care of properly. :-)

I do not know if they do ball fittings.

Dredging this up a bit, but have GolferSim, have you done a fitting at Neshanic Valley w/ Fred/Callaway? Curious for your feedback if you have
