Fitting Data,Shaft suggestions Pls.

Hoping I can get some good suggestions from my latest fitting data..

I have been playing TM 05 Rac tp's w/ PX6.5's since 07.The last year or so the 6.5's have begun to feel pretty "boardy".I took a leap & bought a set of Miura CB501's shafted with PXi 6.0.The PXi's were much lighter and felt just OK to me but since the PXi's were 1/2 " short I had extensions put in them.Took them out on the course and struggled,,Fat,Thin,pull...just all over the place.after 2 rounds I decided I better take them in and get them measured & lie checked.Irons were mizuno standard so even with the 1/2" extensions they were still 1/4 short...but then on the lie...2Deg flat & I need 1Deg up...way off.

So,,I then had a fitting done and my numbers were the same as 2 yrs ago...these numbers were done with the mizuno system mp69's 6iron and shafts tried X100's,S300's & PX6.0.

Club head Spd 93

Ball Speed 123

Launch angle 19Deg

Spin 5600

Avg Carry 175

I tried hard to keep my swing speed smooth & not swing too hard..just nice & smooth.

SO.. I am looking at the Recoil protos 125 F4 hardstepped once,,these were recommended by a UST Mamiya club maker.

I guess I am just trying to see what other might suggest from this data.

Might try the regular equipment section.
Might get more responses quicker.
This forum is supposed to be for the slower swingers I think. 93mph w/ a 6 iron ain't slow.

You can't suggest anything from that data - only a relative flex. You must decide what you like by hitting them - or at least use selection process based on experience. A UST Mamiya club maker suggested a UST Mamiya shaft? Does that not sound a bit obvious?
Get yourself fit for the proper length and weight you like, [i]then[/i] get yourself settled on what feel, trajectory and spin suits your game. Out of interest, did the Mizuno shaft optimizer suggest anything?

I should have been more specific,,
I was only looking for shafts with this data...I was fitted for length & lie as well.(+I/2" 1Degup).I inquired about the recoil protos and with the data the proto 125 F4 hardstepped once is what the UST mamiya fitter recommended.

Consider KBS tour stiff or stiff + if you thought PX felt boardy. The KBS are a very smooth shaft if you're looking for that feel. I went from DG r300 shafts to the KBS tours in stiff and picked up 12 yds with my 6iron and much better accuracy last year.

Shafts make all the distance in the world. Play 1985 Titleist Tour Model MB for about 20 years now. Broke down and had a Miura 6 iron baby blade built with same shaft length but decided to have a KBS C-Taper shaft put in. I couldn't even feel the head. Had a hard time hitting it because my Titleist irons feel more "weighty" at the head so I feel the clubhead instead of the entire club throughout my swing. I don't know. I just know that shaft felt waaaay too heavy to get any feel on the ball for me.
