Any PGA Tour use?

aside from possibly a few Mizuno staffers, does anyone know if any players are playing Bettinardi putters?

ive always liked the underdog companies for no reason other then to be different. In a world where Nike shoes dominate the street i always chose adidas. And a world where Scotty Cameron is as big as Microsoft id love to see Bettinardi compete in some high end putters. I dont see any bettinardi's anymore. I used to like them before he went to Hogan and Mizuno. The Hogan and Mizuno Bettinardi's are pretty ugly.

Ive still got a BB24 and its one of my all time favorites. (its like a face balanced (Studio Design 1)

I don't know if he still does, but Rocco Mediate. I remember reading a story saying Rocco asked Bob for a sterling silver putter cause he wanted a different feel... He was charged $3000 for it, but it felt exactly the same as steel...

Primetimer06 should be chiming in here shortly! I personally like the Bettinardi putters much better than the Scottys. They just feel so much more balanced to me. Bettinardi doesn't have a pay to play program like Scotty otherwise they would have a much bigger presence on the tour.

Yeah Frank pretty much hit the nail on the head.....Bettinardi doesnt have Titleist throwing money at all the tour players like a cameron. But they do have a few players like Luke Donald, Billy Andrade, Brian Gay, and some others that are currently testing things out and will hopefully soon put one into play...and as the partnership with Mizuno grows and the bettinardi names gets bigger hopefully so will Bettinardi's tour presence!!!!

Donald has been playing a Bettinardi since the summer and I believe he still is. I think Andrade has been using a Bettinardi the day Bettinardi joined Mizuno.

 

I believe in a couple of years, Mizuno will be just as big as Titleist, Callaway, and Taylormade. If only Mizuno could make a good driver.

I got a feeling that driver is coming soon. In my own opinion neither of the big three can compete with Mizuno irons.

That is true. Luke has been playing a Bettinardi since he was at Northwestern. Here is a great picture when I was at the plant a few years ago:

in the sporting goods world mizuno is probably only behind nike and about the same level as adidas. they've always had a name putter line, just see what the value of the mizuno scotty cameron putters are on ebay....

I was actually kind of disappointed when I went to the Nissan on Tuesday-Pactice Day and saw representives from a ton on flatsick manufactures but no Big Betti Bag. I did see that the guy working the van bring Luke out several clubs to the range including a black headed putter but there was no presence that day at all on the practice green.
