It was! JJ showed up and started the party. We both busted out the toys and gave them heck-fire. WOW those MP 4s are nice. I've only hit the demo 6 and 9i, but now I'm strongly thinking about getting 8-PW for myself. I just don't have the game to hit 3-PW.

JJ has the same LS 5 wood that I have. I think he was a bit surprised at how well the Redboard did in it. Especially into the wind. Either way, he smoked it. He's got a fun swing to watch. It's almost like watching someone who knows what they're doing!

I had a great time. Probably hit too many balls though, easily 250-300, what do you think? I probably hit 100 just between your two 650 setups. Just couldn't decide which one was better, leaning towards the 9.5* but both are awesome. Redboard in the Super LS was also a highlight. I need some more time with that fujikura I have now but if it doesn't work out, I know what to get now.

It was a crazy amount. Easy 250. I feel pretty old. I'm ready to bust out a walker with tennis balls on the back and skis on the front. Shag bag on the side. Spinners. Whole enchilada.

I've never seen someone so consistent with a driver before. JJ was seriously roping the 9.5*/Cinnamon 75x on the same path/flight time after time. I'm totally jealous of you fairway finding guys. Cheaters.

Not only that but they were carrying into the back trees consistently. Not to toot my own horn or anything. Awesome driver combo.

Yep. Hit them today. Got out for a quick 9 after my physical. Good times. Got two pieces of good news: 1) I'm most likely not going to die today. 2) The irons are awesome.

They are absolutely beautiful to the point of me not wanting to hit them and ruin the looks, but I did anyway. I was honestly thinking about playing the 9 holes with only my 8, 9, PW and putter. Probably should have even though I did hit my PW to 1.5 feet for eagle. Good start. They are a bit more demanding than the 64s but that shouldn't be much of a surprise as they're FREAKING BLADES. And as such, nothing feels better when struck well.

I also forgot to get them bent 2* up. I remembered that as I was addressing the first wedge shot. My miss is certainly left, and having them flatter than I'm used to should take a little bit of the left out of them, even though I can still hit a draw without much effort with them. I did notice that my flight was a little more out to the right than I'm used to as well. Sounds like I need to hit them more.

Good golf week coming up. Tuesday with Sean and JJ. Wednesday league (X2- regular match and a make-up) then Thursday with MadGolfer. Nice. Hope I don't hurt myself and the weather holds up.
