Never hit one on course. I've only hit MadGolfer's MP FliHi. I think it had an X2 or something in it. I don't remember. I was thinking that I'd try to make it a hair longer and play as stiff as I could make it. I was told that you can only tip one of these 3/8", so I did. I'll see in early February when I go to FL for a few days. Looking forward to seeing how this thing really goes.

Well I wouldn't use it on a par 3! Well, unless someone double-dog-dared me. Then I'd tee it up on a 4" tee, hit it on the upswing and play a sling-hook.

Most of the course around here you could play with a 4-iron on down. :-)

I've actually tried playing with only irons (4-LW/Putter) a few times from about 6,600 yards. If it weren't for my damned putter, I'd have broken par. MAN, I hate putting.

Thinking about dropping the MP H5 3i. Just "meh". It's fine. Just "meh". While hitting the hybrid I'd be putting back in the bag (LSP), I noticed that the face looks REEEEALLY flat. Crap. I'll be hitting it next week to see if there's any performance difference, etc.

 

Also, put 4g of hotmelt in the toe of the 850. Sounds SO much better. Also less likely to hook. I'm not saying it doesn't hook...

Just picked up another 75-X. Favorite of all time. It only took about 10 or so years to bring them all back together.

Thanks buddy! My wife convinced me to get one and I'm glad she did. I feel quite a bit better after the round. Not that I felt bad before but I feel a little less tired now.

Where the hell did you find another cinnamon? There's probably never been four of those things right next to each other outside the factory or a tour van.

Right? Got lucky and found it on eBay. I was thinking the same thing. I'll be trying the 75-X in the 850 this week. Really looking forward to it.

Go figure. Steel seems to be more accurate than graphite. Whodda thunk? I get the same flight out of well struck shots with the X100 and Cinnamon 75x. Looks to be same behavior once it hits the ground as well = decent roll. Should be. I got about 1,600 RPM with the X100 on Trackman at the demo day. Can't hate that with around 14* or so launch. Head set at 7.5*. She sits a good 3* open. Niiiiice.

 

Going to try moving the old JPX 800 18* into the bag and rest the Super LS for a bit. Just to see. I'll be giving up about 15 or so yards of distance but I'm thinking the 800 to be more accurate. I'll find out soon.

As far as you hit the ball, 15 yards is nothing. Absolutely nothing. And what you will gain in accuracy will more than make up for that 15 yards.

That sounds so sick.. Do you have any idea how rare the Cinnamon is/how many they made? It's higher launch low spin, right?

Yeah. I've liked Cobra from way back and I remember smashing one using yours when we played with Sean. I got that one from MadGolfer. It's pretty sweet. Even better after hotmelting it. I had it on a Cinnamon 75-X until it snapped at the hosel late in the season. I just put the snapped 75x into my hotmelted 850. It's tipped at least 2" at this point after initial tipping and then snapping. It's playing about 43 5/8". Should be interesting.

 

As you may remember, I hate putting. I take zero joy in it. If I sink a 60 footer, I'm only psyched that I don't have to putt again for that hole. It's the only club in my bag I don't enjoy using so I figured that I'll get something I like the looks of, that feels good and that I can customize to at least FEEL like I'm using something pretty neat. So I got one very lightly used, sent it to the custom shop and here I am today telling the story.
