Right? Actually looking forward to it. They're all one loft (10.5*) but due to all manufacturing tolerances, he's going to hand pick me one at 9.5* that sits open (as opposed to square). I chatted with Sully, the owner for a while last night. Good guy. I like giving business to decent folks. Even better if this thing can hit. He seems pretty confident it can beat my current setup. Going to put the PX Black in it.

Then, of course, I'm going to try and cave the face in.

Had V2 86x's in them. Just got the G15 fw's back with PX Black 6.5's. These could be really nice.

Nice. Still want to try for the 29th? I've got the Grenade all shafted up. It actually looks nasty. It looks like it's got the face of a JPX 825 (not a bad thing at all). The swing weight came out at D0, though. 45" even. Hmm...

Still gaming the LSP? I have a Super 9031 23* and I'm really not a fan but I can't argue with the results, thinking maybe a 18* of these might be up my alley...

Also, what was the turn around to have those clubs custom painted? I probably won't do it this year as we are in prime golfing weather right now, but might be an idea for when the clubs get put up.

Trying the Bombtech Golf Grenade driver out. At D0, I had issues finding the middle of the face. Enter: Lead Tape. Now, I don't have any excuses at D 5.5.

Sure am. I tried the 9031 and wasn't into the iron style hybrid. Certainly a beast, but I didn't like the look or feel. I tried the 18* LSP that I made for a buddy. It was on an Axiv Black 104. That thing was stupid long and more forgiving than the 9031. Felt a bit better than the 9031 as well.

Continental charged $50 plus shipping. It took about 2 weeks from the time they got it. Great guys to work with. Super easy. If you want any more pics or have any more questions about the LSP, let me know.

Sent back the Grenade to get 11g of hotmelt to get the SW up to about D 5.5 or so.

Also, put the LSP on probation. It's long, but I'm not as accurate with it as my old T4 Burner.

Grenade moved to a Pro Launch Red X. Much better.

Also, pretty sure I'm moving back to the DG Tour X7 shafts. I've bent a C Taper and after finding that it's been happening to a lot of folks, I'd rather not have to keep re-shafting. That, and I LOVED my X7s. Moved to the C Taper X for something different. Great shaft. Doesn't feel like DG though.

Ha. It was comical. I had a lesson yesterday because my game is falling apart and stupid stuff crept into my swing. We worked on getting my hands more in front of the ball at impact and some drills on getting a better body turn. While working on the drills using my 47* PW, my instructor was on Trackman. After 10 or so attempts at the drills using range balls, he said that what was happening was "gross". I didn't know if that was a good thing or bad. He then told me to come back and take a look at the numbers.

When I played with Eric and JJ at CT Nat'l I've never seen two gentlemen hit a golf ball so far. Or, hit irons so far. At one point I looked at my clubs, apologized to them, and said: those guys are playing golf, not sure what I'm doing...
