Top Flight Aero ? (Surprised me)

So I go into the new Dicks sporting goods near my house, just to look a round. Nothing in mind really. Anyway I come across this 3 wood , a Top Flight Aero. Never heard of it and didn't know Top Flight was making clubs. I notice that the club is shafted with a made for Pro launch red stiff shaft. At this point the club hoe in me says for $29.99 buy it and give it a try it's cheap. So I take it to the golf course the other day And play it side by side with my gamer a Sooolong head shafted with a reg Pro launch red shaft tipped 1 1/2 inch.(The stiff made for, feels about the same to me). Anyway whenever I needed to use a 3 wood I would just drop an extra ball and hit both clubs. To my surprise, after one round the Top Flight has knocked my gamer out of the bag. Long hitting club, muted sound, and easier to control the draw (my normal shot shape). All in all a solid club for me and by far the cheapest club in the bag.

 

Has anyone hit this club? If so what did you think? Any input welcomed.

Like Nickent, they are a Dick's in house brand so that's the only place you see them.

Last year Callaway sold off the TopFlite brand to DSG. Dicks can do whatever they want with that name now.

wow some one else has a soolong 3 wood? mine lives up to its name and is so long i cant use it. its as long as my driver.

I hit the Top Flite Aero driver a couple weeks ago.
It's got the new Grafalloy Blue (white). I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely had a draw flight to it on the sim. Adjustable hosel. Shaft felt awesome. Even considered picking up that shaft for my gamer. I know Maltby does the Nickent line for Dicks. I wonder if he is doing these as well.

[/quote]Sooolong , and Nike VR pro. Had control issues with the Nike.

i cant hit the soolong off the deck -one reason it left the bag. other reason was it was too long.!
