Anyone with experience around Tuscany or Northern Italy?

Going to spend a couple of weeks in that area in August and might as well play a few rounds while I am there :)

 

Looking at: Biella (seems like a must), Golf Club of Torino and Modena. Any others? My index hives between 3-6 so I don't mind difficult and I am not overly concerned on the cost either. Just want to play the best of the region if I am going to be there.

Some of the most fascinating courses in northern Italy are: indeed Biella and Golf Club Torino, then Castelconturbia (still in Piedmont). I would add Monticello, Golf Club Milano and Villa d'Este between Milan and lake Como.
Modena is pretty but quite far away.
In Tuscany you have Punta Ala and Argentario on the sea, and Poggio de Medici and Ugolino in Firenze.
Depending on where you're visiting, there are also nice courses on the Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda regions

Just curious OP, are you going to bring clubs or hope to rent them. I just returned from France and stopped at a course that I was driving by, just to check it out. They did in fact rent clubs, but since it was drizzling, I didn't play.
