Anyone from Sioux Falls? Will be there around 23 July

Any WRX'ers from the lovely metropolis of Sioux Falls?

 

Will be in town for a couple days, and my Dad and I will likely play once. We've played Willow Run the last couple times we've visited and found it to be a good time. Is there anywhere else we should try? Bakker Crossing? Prairie Green, or somewhere else?

 

If it works out to play with a WRX'er from the area, that might be fun.

Depends what you are looking for.

Spring Creek is in the best condition of them all but course is a little short and has a couple goofy holes. Elmwood has nice big trees and is pretty nice. I'd play Prairie Green before Bakker. Bakker drys out really fast and the sightlines make it a difficult play if you don't know the course.

You could call Minnehaha country club or Westward Ho. Both are private but I'm pretty sure you can get on if you have your local golf pro call and set something up for you. That would be my recommendation.

Willow has had a lot of nice improvements the last few years.

Prairie Green is closest to where our family is in town, so will most likely go there and try to take advantage of the early morning rate. Thanks for the input!

Prairie Green turned out to be a great time. Fast and relatively firm conditions from the warm and dry July they'd had.
