Red Tail

All, any indication on the shape that Red Tail is in this year? It's one of my favorite layouts in MA and is great to play when in good shape, but it was not last year. Thanks!

So Red Tail is in pretty good shape overall. Only real problem was the 14th green, it was heavily sanded so they must have had an issue with it from the winter. They also had the pin cut in an almost impossible position on the left side. It's a pretty ridiculous green to begin with, so it's not a big loss. Rest of the course was very nice.

I ended up playing last Saturday afternoon. I thought the course was in great shape, sans the 14th green which they are having some issues with. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape, and the sand was very impressive given the winter. I think they may have replaced it all.

It's pricey ($100 rate card I think) but a spectacular layout and I've always liked it. They have a good deal after 2 or 3p ok the weekends.

Didn't golf there on saturday since I was down the cape. But my friend tee'd off at 2pm on saturday. Finished at 8pm. 6hr round is ridiculous.

i played 2 saturdays ago. it is one of my favorites in Mass as well. it was in good shape. a few of the greens were still recovering but fairways, rough and tee boxes were great. it was worth it. they lost their superintendent last year so things got rough for a little while. it took 4hrs 45 min. we teed off at 815, not bad.
